I hate school. I hate school. I hate school. I hate school. I hate school. I hate school. I hate school. I hate school. I hate school. I hate school. I hate school. I hate school. I hate school. I hate school. I hate school. I hate school. I hate school.

If you haven't guessed, I hate school. Well, I hate 2D Design. Quite a bullshit class if ever I saw one! So yeah, no comic this week because I need to spend some time SAVING MY GRADE. God. It's not MY fault I was never able to paint or do anything cleanly with my hands. Now I know how IAN felt. Poor Ian ;___;

At least I have Galaxy Angel. And more importantly, Galaxy Angel H-doujins.

So, Lost ended. Time to get back to anime: I’m starting Kanon and Negima?! they should be good.

So, I finally finished my film. One thing that I find really interesting is the screening process. I do not know how directors are able to watch their film again and again and again. Every time I watch it I see all the mistakes, all the errors, and everything I could have done better. From the change in white noise that couldn’t be prevented because our ADR sucked, to the basic shot that I really should have got...but never did. I guess filming is a learning process and I’m starting to write a new script. It’s probably going to be thirty minutes long compared to the fourteen-minute film that is Socius. I’m finally starting a Sci-Fi script, I know the story...I just haven’t settled on a style. The story is in the same taste as ‘Pi’, but with more of a love story. I’ll rant about it more when I have more to work with. I am almost done with the first draft.

Going back to the Fountain, which I recommended two weeks ago. I’ve been doing a lot of reading into it and found that there is no CGI in the entire film. This is usually the part where people don’t believe me, but I always explain myself, so here goes:
It’s chemicals filmed at a microscopic level. They are then green screened on to the image. The rest is done with matte paintings and other older techniques used by Star Wars (MINATURES!). So, if you want to see some old school effects style mixed in with some new ones without CGI. Again, I ask you to see the Fountain.

I’m gonna come out and say it. I did not like Borat. It was hilarious when he was talking to people, but the whole two naked men wrestling in sexual positions and shoving their balls in each other’s faces.
Was just plain nasty.
That scene ruined the movie for me. There are still some great parts, but now that Borat is so popular I think his humor has just become old.

There’s not much more to rant about until I get my “Wii”. See you all later.

Countdown: Wii: 10 days. The Fountain: 12 Days
