It seems the gallery pages have appeared. I wonder who did that? :O

----------------------

Wow, I feel sorry for you guys. You wait all this time and you get a crappy comic. I'm afraid that's the case all too much with this comic. I'm surprised that no one has quit yet! I tried something ambitious with the opening panel, which actually kind of works. Perhaps comics from now on will have more interesting camera angles? We'll see. I'm also sorry to bog you all down with a lot of poorly written, poorly formatted blocks of text. In a short while we'll be seeing scripts by the other guys, so don't worry. I just kind of want to get through the first 10 comics on my own.

Part of the delay in this comic lies in this Ohno fanart I spent forever on (the other part lies in my trek to Boston). I'll be making some more fanart for Otakon; some GITS stuff and some Samurai Champloo stuff. I have the Champloo art all set out in my head, and I'm still playing around with the GITS art. I'm hoping these will rake in the bucks. I guess doing a gayed up Sasuke won't hurt, either.

Yet another visual novel to anime adaptation has come to an end in the form of Fate/Stay Night. As far as I'm concerned, the series went south right after Archer left the show. At that point it pretty much jumped the shark because it simply could not get any better than that. The final battle was uninspired, with spots of re-used animation. The episode contained some Anno-esque techniques; on screen text and whatnot. It was probably a attempt the make the show seem good in its final minutes. The animation was fairly solid, but the fluid animation was not really put to good use. The episode's second act was devoted to the usual epilogue crap, which seemed too happy compared the events that just transpired. Overall the series was fairly passable as an anime, but failed as an adaptation (if the source really is this epic novel on par with Journey To The West, like people say it is.) Most of the battles sucked, characters that I had hope in got little to no screentime (Sakura) and the story in general was poorly constructed and poorly paced. I still burned the fansubs to DVDs, in case I ever want to watch it again, but I highly doubt I'd buy this series. Also, that white text on the blue background in the opening of the last episode looked really bad.

We were blessed with another good installment of Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu. Although episode 13 had a lot of talk (which went over my head because I watched while still fairly tired), I came out of the episode satisfied. It was a nice dark change from the rest of the series (save episode... 10? The one with the cool fight and guro.) With episode 14 upon us, I am actually feeling a little sad the series is coming to a close. I had not felt this until now, but I think I will miss the series. It doesn't really mater though, given a second series is almost absolute. It's kind of sad that they won't be able to top that ending sequence, though.

Oh yeah, the school they go to is real. I thought that was kind of interesting.

I honestly don't see what's so great about Ouran High School Host Club. It started off fairly good, but now the jokes are just getting old. LOL THE CHARACTERS ARE ACTING GAY. LOL GIRLS GO WILD. LOL IT'S NOT FUCKING FUNNY ANYMORE. It's OLD and it's TIRED. Even the crappy shoujo art style is starting to bother me, too. Gyah, why do I torture my self? It's still not bad enough to quit it though. That's Disgaea :)

I've finally seen all of Honey and Clover, and it's about time too, given the second series starts... right about now. Chapter F was pretty funny, but not as funny as Chapter L. I guess a bunch of guys' almost homosexual worship over a butcher makes me laugh more than a crazy lady trying to make one of her co-workers look bad (and failing, turning him into a fashion celebrity.) The Lupin reference was rather hilarious though, espcially since they built it up perfectly. Right when she held up the green coat I thought to my self, "They're going to reference Lupin." And they did. I think Honey and Clover is the only shoujo series I can't hate. Mostly because the art style takes what I like from shoujo comics and drops the shit that I hate, which makes for fairly nice looking characters. Also because the story doesn't focus around stupid crap like making clothes (LOL PARADISE KISS) or shit like that. It's just a fun slice of show about a group of nice people.

I've also finished the first Lupin series. Overall, it's fairly good. It doesn't really get into its groove until about the halfway mark, but all of the episodes were entertaining to varying degrees. The art style slowly shifts to that of the second series as the show progresses, which is a little sad, given I like the original style more.

Well, that's all for this week. I'll try to get another comic done within the week.

Let me get right to it:

I love this comic. Not just because it is a reference to The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, but because of Wildarms' attempt at a new perspective in the opening panel. I guess all the free time Wildarms has had has come to good use. Seeing the fan art he posted above (Makes me jealous of my lack of talent on the drawing table).

So, I saw an Inconveniant Truth. You can either listen to my letter read out in the podcast Filmspotting or just read ahead: This film is terrible. This film treats you like you are stupid. I have never been so offended. Most of the film simply is a slide sho, I'm cool with that, but when this films fades into Gore's life. I don't care. My entire class groaned. If you want to learn about Global Warming: read a book. Anyway, on to spoilers:

Ok. First off, two Haruhi episodes have come out since my last rant. Episode 12 and Episode 13. I did not enjoy Episode 12, it was an attempt to develop Haruhi's character too quickly, I love the idea of helping someone, but a rock show? Seriously. Talk about fan service. The rock show was too long and bored me. What made episode 11 good was you had the characters doing what they do best, most of this episode was plotless. Episode 13, however was amazing. It was a bit preachy, but when you finally had some development of another male character and you see how passionate he is about Haruhi. That was good. Can't wait for the end.

No new episodes of Ergo Proxy. *frown*

/END SPOILERS

So, after two years of being lazy and not watching it. I've decided to start watching Battlestar Galactica. After re-watching the Miniseries I reminded myself how much I loved the Miniseries two years ago. This is spot on, perfect Sci-Fi. So, I have two seasons to get through, so no spoilers yet...so....see yah later.
